Pricing – already have an Avaya IP Office

We only support the Avaya IP Office business phone system, so if you already have one, you can take advantage of your existing equipment & simply switch to Hightalk.

Every site is different & nobody likes surprises, so to help with your decision making, please find a real-life example of one of our customers, who already had an Avaya IP Office & made the switch to Hightalk. Here we will describe the process, include their shopping list & final once off & ongoing charges.

The process

Two weeks after the customer returned the paperwork, we installed their NBN internet & business grade modem. We pre-configured the modem & switched them to Hightalk NBN internet in a mater of seconds. All their computers tested OK & seeing they switched from ADSL the staff were presently surprised with the new speed. While on site we also upgraded the Avaya phone system software, which needed about 5 minutes of downtime to complete. We then, setup remote access for ongoing support. We also made some changes to their Avaya to give their callers a better experience. (Like to learn what we did? Click the blue button)

About one week later after the new NBN internet proved reliable, we remotely programmed their new Hightalk lines & started the porting process of their main number. About two weeks later their main number ported successfully, like with all porting’s their was a downtime of about 25 minutes. So in under 5 weeks the job was completed.

(As all our lines are unlimited & include support, all our customers are billed the same amount every month & continue to enjoy free remote support right through to their handsets)

Value added service

While on site our customer asked for some help with the Avaya. Their concerns were, callers placed on hold only heard beeps & they would prefer for them to hear music & during public holidays they couldn’t record a holiday greeting & finally they wanted to playback their voicemail messages while away from the office.

So we, uploaded some music & now callers hear music while on hold. We programmed a holiday button on the receptionists handset & showed them how to change the holiday greetings, now during public holidays they simply record their greeting & turn on the Holiday button. And finally we programmed the Avaya IP Office to email any voicemail messages to an email address, now they can playback messages on their mobile & even forward the messages to other staff. A happy ending.
